On behalf of Robinson Professional Security Corporation “Security Officer Training School”, we are proud to announce that we offer the State Approved Unarmed Security course which will be given by a State Approved Class DI Security Instructor. Safety is our number one concern. Due to COVID-19, the appropriate measures will be taken. Masks are mandatory and safety is our number one concern.
This course will enable you to receive Class D security license, and enter the Public Safety career field. This course is 40 hours and students will learn the basic principles of security, and all there is to know to successfully enter this career field.
Our course materials will comply and exceed with F.S. 493 and legal guidelines 5N-1. Upon successful completion of the Unarmed Security D Course, students will receive the Certificate of Completion, as well as submittal of Class D licensing application to the Division of Licensing.
Graduating students who apply for and receive the Class “D” Security Officer License are permitted to work for a licensed security agency as an unarmed security officer.
This course will be held at the Florida Public Safety Institute (Tallahassee Community College) 75 College Drive Havana, Florida 32333.
We would like to advise you that we are not a part of Florida Public Safety Institute or any affiliation with Tallahassee Community College. The course is fully operated by Robinson Professional Security Corporation Training School. The company is its own entity and separated from any other company.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a Class “D” license:
According to the State of Florida, applicants for security licenses MUST be at least 18 years of age, have no disqualifying criminal history, and be legally allowed to work in the United States. A high school diploma is required.

Tuesday Apr. 12, 2022 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday Apr. 13, 2022 8:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday Apr. 14, 2022 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday Apr. 15, 2022 8:00am - 5:00pm

Cost of course and what is provided:
The cost of the course is $175. To secure your slot the fee is due upon scheduling. The 40- hour course, the certificate of completion, the application process, and notarization of the application is provided with the cost of course.
